Finding and joining pickup games is completely free. Booking a court only costs the venue's hourly rate, split automatically between everyone in the game — Sportonica doesn't add booking fees on top.

How do I book a futsal court or ground?

Accepted Answer

Go to Book, pick a sport, date and location, then choose from verified grounds with live hourly availability. You don't need a full squad — open your booking to the city and other players can fill the empty spots.

Is it safe to play with people I don't know?

Accepted Answer

Every player builds a trust score from how reliably they show up, and you can see who's joining before you commit. For a court you book directly through Sportonica, your payment sits in escrow until the game is actually played. For a Play Together game, you pay the host directly — cash at the venue or their own QR — and the host confirms they've received it before you're confirmed in.

How do payments and refunds work?

Booking a court directly: pay with Khalti, eSewa, FonePay or bank transfer, and it sits in escrow until the game happens — if it's cancelled, you're covered. Joining a Play Together game: you pay the host directly, in cash or via their QR, and Sportonica never collects or holds that money — the host verifies it themselves.
